Warning: registering with the details of someone else without authorisation is prohibited

Whoever opens an account declares and warrants that they are authorised to bind the taxpayer in whose name they act (Terms of use, section 3). For every registration we record the IP address in the activity log (Privacy policy, section 2). Entering false details, or the details of someone else without authorisation, is prohibited (Terms of use, section 7): we have the right to suspend such an account at once, without notice and without giving a reason (section 6), and the Terms also give us the right to full compensation (section 7). The registration records are handed to a court or another competent authority when it orders us to (Privacy policy, section 5).

As we understand the law: the Criminal Code of Serbia treats computer data as a document too (article 112 paragraph 26). The same Code also treats as forgery of a document the case where someone issues a document in the name of another person without the authorisation of that person, or in the name of a person who does not exist, and punishes it under article 355, whose paragraph 1 prescribes imprisonment of up to three years (article 356 point 3). Whether a particular registration on the details of someone else without authorisation is such an offence is assessed, case by case, by the competent public prosecutor and the court.
